The Bastille Festival returns on 11 and 12 July 2026, once again transforming Franschhoek into a lively celebration of French-inspired flair. A standout on South Africa’s winter calendar and now in its 34th year, the event continues to pay tribute to Franschhoek’s rich heritage, celebrated wine culture and the culinary excellence that has cemented its global reputation.
Guests are invited to dress in red, white and blue and step into a spirited weekend of flavour, festivity and atmosphere that captures the essence of Bastille in the heart of the Cape Winelands
Prescient Investment Management returns for a fourth consecutive year as Title Sponsor of the Franschhoek Bastille Festival, reinforcing its partnership with one of the Winelands’ most iconic winter events. As part of this year’s programme, Prescient Investment Management will host a competition on Saturday, with one lucky guest set to win R20,000 invested in a Prescient unit trust.

Festival favourites return this year in full force. Iconic Bastille will once again showcase its signature wine and cheese tastings, complemented by live performances from Amy Jones, The Blend Theory and the ever-popular Absolutely Fabulous duo. The Best Dressed Competition also makes a welcome comeback, promising standout style and exciting prizes.

A Note from Prescient Investment Management

Prescient Investment Management is proud to be partnering with the Bastille Festival for the fourth consecutive year. As an investment manager with deep South African roots, we are delighted to partner with an event that celebrates local enterprise, creativity, and community in one of the world's most storied wine regions.
Franschhoek is proof that great things are built slowly, intentionally, and with real care. Since 1688, this valley has turned heritage into something worth celebrating. That kind of long-term thinking is something we understand well.
Over 26 years ago, we set out from Cape Town with a simple but firm belief: that investing should never rely on gut feel or heroic forecasts. Instead, we use disciplined processes and vast amounts of data to make decisions that adapt as markets change. Because behind every data point is a human outcome: a retirement, a future, a sense of security. Our role is to remove emotion from the equation, so our clients can spend less time worrying about markets and more time enjoying moments like this one.
Here's to another year of good wine and good company.
Prescient Investment Management is an Authorised Financial Services Provider (FSP612).
